We're committed to bringing together some of the best speakers from all around the world to share their knowledge with you here.
Since we are an online event there is not much more needed other than a webcam to record your talk once you you is selected. We are available for techincal assistance when you need help with recording your presentation.
When the Call for Papers closes, the organizers will sort through the submissions, making their selections. Speakers will be notified as soon as the selection process has been completed.
Not every subject needs the same amount of time. To facilitate a diverse range of topics and topic depths we have three different lengths for our talk slots this year. When you submit your talk, you can choose the appropriate talk length:
Talk length is including Q&A, but keep in mind that Comference includes a community aspect on Discord, so no worries if you don't have enough time for questions, people can always ask questions in the Discord.
We know that preparing a talk takes time, therefor it is important that our speakers are compensated for their investments.
We do hope you will stick around during the event and join our event-community. To get direct feedback from the attendees, but also to enjoy the rest of the event.
For speakers who are selected to be speaking at Comference that would like some extra help preparing their talk, we will be available for questions and support in a seperate private channel on Discord. We could also schedule one or two short videochat sessions to help you out.
We strongly encourage potential speakers to submit more than one submission on more than one topic. The more submissions you contribute, the more options you give us to pick you. Be sure your talk title and abstract define the exact topic you want to talk about and what you hope people will learn from the session. If you want to be creative with the format use the "Additional Talk Information" to explain what you want to do.
